In my reading basket this week are two books that I saw on other blogs and that looked very interesting and our library had them both. 'Preserving Food Without Canning or Freezing' is definitely on my wish list. 'Alabama Studio Style' looks interesting so far but I have not looked deeper into it yet.

I love the name of your knitting and it does look pretty. I need a copy of Preserving Food without canning or freezing! I had not heard of it. I spend hours last night standing over the pressure cooking canning beets!
I have that pattern in my favorites! We seem to have similar tastes :) You are really plowing through some knitting projects.
I just finished the Age of Brass and Steam recently myself. It's a good fun quick knit.
