A Year of Blankets - #9

Still two blankets behind. I have been sick with some kind of crud for almost three weeks and not much got done. I did manage to finally put all the FB group squares together in a blanket. We are supposed to donate our blankets but this one has quite a lot of boo-boos in it and I am not sure I want it to leave my house. I did donate several blankets already this year, I hope that will make up for keeping this one.

Yeah, Atlanticus is finished. I am only 2 months behind in my goal to make one blanket per month - thank you Summer! But I am getting there.
Atlanticus was designed by the lovely Vanessa from 'Hooked on Sunshine' and done as a CAL in her FB group.
The yarn is Lion Brand Ice Cream in Lemon Swirl. I don't remember how many balls I used, because I had to order more a couple of times, but it was at least 11. He is a big boy.

Meet 'Rosslyn', a beautiful pattern by Helen Shrimpton. She was supposed to be finished in July but the hot Summer made it impossible to sit on the sofa with a large blanket in my lap.

This one is called 'Namaqualand Blanket', designed by Dedri Uys and the free pattern can be found here. This is such a happy blanket, I love it.

This one is called "Sunshine Mandala", I used Stylecraft Special DK in various shades of green and purple with stone as the main color. I find it fascinating how different it looks in the sunshine or in the shadow.

My Moorland Blanket is finished. I decided to skip adding a border, it is big and cuddly and I am totally in love with these colors.
