Roses

I am glad I got some pictures before the heavy rains of the past few days wiped them all out.

November Roses

Roses

The first roses that bloomed got frost bitten but now they are coming in beautifully.

Monday

I have a rough week and weekend behind me and a brand new week before me. Today the sun is shining, laundry has been hung, the bathroom is clean, bread dough is rising, the cats are well, there are new projects on hooks and needles and new books to read. All is well in my world.

Around the Garden

The groundhog was right, we have an early Spring, I even have my first mosquito bite of the year, a new record.
Signs of Spring are everywhere, the white violets are blooming and seem to spread all over the garden, which is fine with me, the rose bush is full of new leaves and the lilac is promising to bloom this year (no late frosts please) and there is even a new hat growing amidst the chickweed.
