The Moonlit Shawl, a lovely pattern by S. Paul at 'Cherry Heart'. I used a wool yarn in sport weight I had in my stash. The pattern is easy to follow and did not take long to finish.
And another pair of socks, these are knitted in Opal Fresh & Juicy.

New Socks
Very colorful, the yarn is Stylecraft Head over Heels in colorway 'Etna'. The yarn is soft and squishy, I love it. This is pair #46 in my quest of knitting myself 100 pairs of socks.

A New Shawl
This one is called 'Namaqualand Shawl' by the lovely Dedri Uys. It is a free pattern and can be found on her blog here. The yarn is Sirdar Colourwheel in Colourama.

First Harvest and a New Pillow
I picked the first two peppers this morning, they will go into tonight's dinner.
Over the weekend I finished a new pillow case, the pattern is called 'A Momentary Eclipse' and can be found here. I used Stylecraft Special DK yarn that I had left from other projects, I like both the pattern and the color combination.

Another small shawl
As you can probably tell by now, I really like that yarn. And some projects just fly off the needles in no time at all, while others linger and hang on and take ages to finish. I don't know why. This is the 'Navarre Shawl' and it was finished in a jiffy.

Sunday Morning
Ah, morning, my favorite time of day. All is fresh and full of promise and I must say, my veggie plants are looking smashing this year (so far), despite heavy rain and wind in the past few days. Sadly, there will not be any sunflowers, some critter dug up the seeds and ate them. And my guess is, the poppies will not come up either since they were in the same bed.

Better late than never
I planted a 'Ratatouille Garden' this weekend. All the ingredients (tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, zucchini) plus a few herbs. I hope this year will be more successful than the last time we planted something and that no critters will be digging in the two beds.
